The Lyndon | 1b/1b | Guadalupe River | Downtown

The Lyndon we stayed in was beautiful, clean and so nice to have all of your at home needs while on your getaway. There was an issue with the access to the river. The “beach” area wasn’t really a “beach” area. It was completely muddy, hard to walk through and smelled bad. We were not able to use the area at all. Also on the walk down to the river’s “beach” area there were lots of fire ants. None of this would stop us from staying there again but do think they are issues that should be addressed. We would’ve liked to have been able to spend time in the river since it was just a walk away. I would also like to mention that it is a bit of a walk through an open “field” area to get to the river. So, make sure if you have small children, elderly or any issues where walking maybe difficult, rent the golf cart. If you are able to walk down and up the hilled field area, I would suggest that you bring at least a wagon to help with lugging your items to and from the river.

This cozy spot has everything I needed to make a few days stay in New Braunfels restful and relaxing.
