Estimated float times vary depending on river flow, crowds and how many stops you make along the way! Longest Float: Get in at Hinman Island Park (get dropped off or walk 15min) and float to the last public exit (appx 3.5-4 hours). From the public exit walk 1 block back to condo! No shuttle needed! OR get out right at the private steps of the condo (appx 2.5 - 3 hours). *This is for experienced swimmers as this float takes you down the large tube chute. Short Float (our favorite): Get in at the steps using the private river access and float the peaceful "horseshoe" around to the last public exit (appx 1 - 1.5 hours) ! This is the PERFECT float for all ages. No need to lug around a cooler or a ton of drinks, refill and refuel and enjoy this float over and over again. There is public parking options a couple of blocks from the condo should you have more than 2 vehicles. You will also have access to the community amenities: a private river park with grills, loungers and picnic tables right on the river as well as a gated pool. Accessibility from the unit to the river park is limited and requires walking through stairs. We live locally, and a quick drive away but will not be onsite unless needed during your stay! This is the heart of New Braunfels and walking distance to everything this town has to offer without ever getting in your car! There are 2 parking spots (with tags) allowed per unit.
